Quick answers for sprint planning.
Scrum Tools is a set of free, no-signup tools for scrum teams. It's built to be opened in the middle of a planning meeting and give an answer in under a minute.
The velocity planner
Sprint planning usually starts with the same question: how much can we actually take on? The planner answers it from the things that really change from sprint to sprint: team holidays, who's out on which days, part-time availability and unfinished work carried over from last sprint.
You mark the days on a grid, the team total updates as you go, and the "People in" row shows which days are thin on coverage. When you're done, one link shares the whole plan.
The order race is there for the moment someone asks "who goes first?". It picks an order for standup, demos or anything else, and saves it next to each name.
How it's built
Everything runs in your browser. There are no accounts and the site doesn't store your plans on a server. The privacy policy has the details.
The site is free to use. It's supported by the book recommendations beside the planner, which earn a small commission from Bookshop.org.
Who makes it
Scrum Tools is made by Sarnia LLC. Ideas, bug reports and sponsorship enquiries are all welcome on the contact page.
